During the week of October 9, 2007, National Fire Prevention Week, we completed our Fire Safety Week lesson. For this lesson, we focused on some important concepts about fire including:
1. Don't hide, go outside.
2. Stay low and go.
3. Stop, drop, & roll.
We also discussed dialing 9-1-1 for emergencies and the importance of knowing their address and phone numbers. It is imperative that our precious ones learn the inportance of Fire Safety!
Wallingford Fire Department came to the gym October 14, 2007 for all the gym members to meet and explore their fire truck.

During the week of October 22, 2007, we celebrated halloween. Our students came to class dressed in their Halloween costumes. We had a parade to show off those great costumes as well as having a great photo opportunity for all of the parents.
On Friday night we had our annual Halloween party for the ages 5 and up. All our participants enjoyed hours of fun.
