Owners of Connecticut Gymnastics Academy are Brock and Roberta Freehling. Brock (a.k.a. Mr. Broccoli) is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, PA with a B.A. in Communications. He also holds an Elementary Ed. Certification from SCSU. Brock has been a pre-school director, recreational instructor and the head coach of the girls team who have won numerous State and Regional titles and National qualifiers. Brock is a former collegiate competitor and has over 20 years of gymnastics coaching experience.

Roberta was a former retail manager at The Children's Place. She has worked in the gymnastics field for over 15 years as an office manager, preschool director and recreational instructor.

Brock and Roberta have three children Riley, Brynn and Brody.
