Owners of Connecticut Gymnastics Academy are Brock and Roberta Freehling. Brock (a.k.a. Mr. Broccoli) is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, PA with a B.A. in Communications. He also holds an Elementary Ed. Certification from SCSU. Brock has been a pre-school director, recreational instructor and the head coach of the girls team who have won numerous State and Regional titles and National qualifiers. Brock is a former collegiate competitor and has over 35 years of gymnastics coaching experience.

 

Roberta has worked in the gymnastics field for over 25 years as an office manager, preschool director and recreational instructor.

Brock and Roberta have three children - Riley graduated in 2020 from the University of New Hampshire and was the captain of the gymnastics team her senior year.  Riley currently works at CGA coaching Pre Team - Level 10.  Brynn is a Sophomore at West Virginia University and is on the gymnastics team and Brody enjoys playing video games :)
